Lieutenant-Commander of the Portuguese Navy, he has a degree in Naval Military Sciences from the Portuguese Naval School, specializing in Naval Administration; postgraduate degree in Project Management, by ISCTE-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa; postgraduate in Military Sciences - Security and Defense, by the Military University Institute (IUM).
In addition to the curricular career courses, he is qualified with the Introduction to Social Communication Course.
As Junior Officer, he served as Head of Supply Service on board the NRP Álvares Cabral, Head of Supply and Heritage Service of the Portuguese Hydrographic Institute, Head of Supply Service of the Marine Corps Base, Deputy Head of the Office of Educational Technologies at the Naval School of Technologies, Internal Consultant in the Logistics Area at the Information Systems Services Department at the General Secretariat of the Ministry of National Defense and Internal Consultant in the Logistics Area and Assistant to the Head of the Organization, Control and Audit Office of the Directorate of Supply.
As a Senior Officer, he was Internal Consultant for the Financial Area in the Information Systems Services Directorate at the General Secretariat of the Ministry of National Defense and Head of the Logistics Department at NRP Corte Real.
Currently, is commissioned at the IUM as a professor in the Area of Teaching Human Behavior and Resource Management at the Department of Postgraduate Studies, being responsible for the Curriculum Unite (CU) of “Management of Organizations”; supports the teaching of CUs on “Command and Leadership”, “Communication and Public Relations” and “Organizational Behaviour”; supports the teaching of the Introduction to Social Communication Course and training in “Communication and Interaction with the Media”.
He is a research advisor for graduate students and attending career curricular courses.
