    Brigadier General in the Brazilian Army, he holds a degree in Military Sciences from the Academia Militar das Agulhas Negras (1995); a specialization in Psychopedagogy from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1998); a specialization in Higher Education Teaching from the Castelo Branco University (2008); a specialization in Military Sciences - Security & Defense from the Military University Institute, in Portugal (2014); Master's degree in Military Operations from the Officer Improvement School (2003); Master's degree in Military Sciences from the Army Command and General Staff School (2012); Master's degree in Security and National Defense from the Superior School of War, in Colombia (2020); elementary education from Colégio Militar de Porto Alegre (1988) and high school from the Army Cadets Preparatory School (1991). He also has a Jungle Operations Course from the Jungle Warfare Instruction Center (1997) and a Basic Parachute Course from the General Penha Brasil Parachute Instruction Center (1996). Abroad, he took the Junior Command and General Staff Course and the Armed Conflict Law Course in Canada (2006), the Joint Staff Course in Portugal (2013-2014), and the Advanced Military Studies Course in Colombia (2020). In the 2009-2010 biennium, he commanded the 1st Jungle Infantry Brigade Command Company, based in Boa Vista-RR. In 2014 and 2015, he was a Parliamentary Advisor for the Army Commander's Office. In 2016, he served as Civil-Military Coordination Officer (CIMIC) of the Brazilian Peace Force Battalion (BRABAT 23) in the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH). In the second half of 2016, he served as Deputy of the Doctrine Monitoring and Lessons Learned Division, Army Doctrine Center, Land Operations Command (COTER). In 2017, he served as Commander of the Basic Course of the Academia Militar das Agulhas Negras (AMAN). In the 2018-2019 biennium, he commanded the 51st Jungle Infantry Battalion, based in Altamira-PA. In the first half of 2021, he headed the Preparation and Evaluation Section of COTER's Peace Mission Division. In the second half of 2021 and 2022, he served as Deputy Director of the Presidential Security Department of the Office of Institutional Security of the Presidency of the Republic (GSI/PR). In the 2023-2024 biennium, he commanded the Jungle Warfare Instruction Center (CIGS), based in Manaus-AM. He is currently Commander of the 2nd Jungle Infantry Brigade, based in São Gabriel da Cachoeira-AM. He has experience in the areas of Defense, Foreign Policy and International Relations.
